PalmerHouse Properties founder and CEO Kevin Palmer was named CEO and principal of KeyPleaz, a real estate technology company that focuses on the property-showing process.
The KeyPleaz app allows busy agents to access a network of available local agents to show houses when their schedules prevent them from doing so themselves.
After founding PalmerHouse in 2006, Palmer sold the brokerage in 2021 to Phoenix-based HomeSmart International.
“We believe Kevin’s strong leadership experience will help guide KeyPleaz to becoming one of the most important resources in the real estate agent’s toolbox,” KeyPleaz cofounder and principal Cathy Horgan said in a news release. “Once integrated into an agent’s business, KeyPleaz® allows agents — and the brokerage — to better serve their clients and promote the growth of less tenured agents.”
KeyPleaz is currently used by more than 40,000 agents nationwide, according to the company.
“When [the cofounders] first pitched the idea of KeyPleaz in the fall of 2019 — even before the technology was fully developed — I knew this could be a tremendous resource for agents and brokerages,” Palmer said. “I was so convinced that I agreed to offer the PalmerHouse Properties 2,000-plus agent base to beta test KeyPleaz. The results were significant and impressive.”
